With the exception of one word, the "Dutch" buyers in the Marriot hotel actually speak German (with accent) instead of Dutch. The one Dutch word is spoken when one of the buyers checks the air duct. He says 'Niks' which is Dutch for 'Nothing'. This makes sense as he sees nothing inside the air duct. The German word would be 'Nichts'. See more »
The shape of the tree when viewed from the hotel remains the same even when the scene is viewed in flashback. Presumably there would have been some growth over the years. See more »
