Rubbish.
After being nice to Mr. Hippolyte and his earlier "Animal Instincts" effort, I'll have to start being mean. Without Shannon Whirry and without a really rubbishy story, "Animal Instincts" is like a knife without a fork. Why did he see fit to make another episode?
Well, Ok, there was probably potential, but this effort is far from acceptable. I saw it AGES ago on late-night television (Ahem), and so I'm working from memory here. But, I remember it being rubbish, simply because I was with a friend at the time, and we were both discussing its pure rubbish-ness.
This time, the cast is fresh, and the seductress plot in question has something to do with a man whose blind. Or something. Anyway, it all ends up with a horridly and shamefully nasty and over-the-top end sequence, where a rap-artist attempts to attack and rape our protagonist.
The fun, the mystique, and the beauty has disappeared now, this time in favour of a film far more conventional, and certainly a lot less erotic plot. It doesn't look or even appear like a Gregory Hippolyte movie, and one can't help but pine for Miss Whirry to return. Avoid.
