The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex and Nudity: 4/10

In one scene, a tween is bathed by a woman in her 20s. He is in the bathtub, obviously stark naked even though we don't see much. The woman rubs soap all over his body. They talk and the kid relaxes in the tub. The woman can obviously clearly see him naked, so it's obvious that she can see his genitals and butt.

Two characters kiss for less than a second.

Violence: 4/10

A two scenes depict a murder. A man is stabbed 3 times in the back (it is hidden by camera angle, and there is no blood) and someone falls over with a knife in his back.

A man falls to his (presumed) death.

Scenes of attempted murder are depicted but nothing ever happens.

A couple of fistfights are depicted.

Profanity: 2/10

1 use of GD

1 use of d---n

1 use of a--

Alcohol, Drugs and Smoking: 2/10

A character smokes a pipe throughout

Intense Scenes: 2/10

The murder in the graveyard is very intense and frightening for younger viewers.

Later in the film, a man stalks Tom and threatens to kill him. Twice, Tom thinks that Injun Joe is standing over him as he sleeps, one time it turns out to be a dream and the other time it turns out to be Huck.
