Santa Monica cops on bikes get the job done in Pacific Blue.
A team of good-looking Santa Monica police officers patrol their district’s beaches on bicycles in Pacific Blue, the television action crime series that ran for an impressive five seasons on the USA Network from 1996 to 2000.
Created by Bill Nuss, the hit show starred various actors over the years (they were always coming and going), including Rick Rossovich (Top Gun) , Darlene Vogel (TV’s Beyond the Break), Paula Trickey (TV’s The O.C.), Mario Lopez (TV’s Nip/Tuck) and Shanna Moakler (Big Momma’s House 2). Funnier though were the regular guest appearances by a handful of WWF wrestlers (WWF Raw was broadcast the same network) including Sable, Chyna, Triple H and Shawn Michaels.
This 19-dvd set features all 101 episodes from the show and offers some 90 minutes of bonus features, »

But do you remember Oscar nominee/host James Franco lurking in the background?
Credited as James Edward Franco, he plays a character named Jason -- but you’ll probably have to wait until the credits role to notice, since they only say his name once during the film. Jason is a member of the gang of cool surrounding teenaged alpha male Guy Perkins (Jeremy Jordan). They torment the nerds, including Drew Barrymore’s undercover geek character, Josie Gellar.
He only has a couple lines and just follows Guy Perkins' lead on everything; kind of funny, »

Whenever I talk to boxing fans about last year’s critical success The Fighter, they all have the same reaction. That is to say they liked the movie, but don’t understand why it ended before it got to the best part. The best part they were envisioning was Micky Ward’s legendary trilogy of fights with Arturo Gatti, which catapulted both men into boxing superstardom. The three fights, which are renowned for their brutality, started as a fierce rivalry and ended with the two men in a close friendship. While talking to Extra’s Mario Lopez on the Academy Awards’ red carpet, Wahlberg had more than a little to say about those fights. When discussing his future plans, he said, “Now we’re gonna talk about doing number two. We’re gonna do the Ward/Gatti trilogy and make it real.” So there you go fight fans and fans of The Figher, it »
