Storyline

Theodore Hoffman is a prominent defense attorney in a prestigious Los Angeles law firm. After successfully defending the wealthy but suspicious Richard Cross in a lurid murder trial, he is now involved in the defense of Neil Avedon. Neil is a famous young actor who has had severe drug and alcohol problems and was subsequently charged with the murder, after Cross was acquitted. This single case will run an entire television season (interspersed with bits from other cases that the firm is involved in). Written by Tad Dibbern <DIBBERN_D@a1.mscf.upenn.edu>

Chris Docknovich: You don't hold out much hope Cross is still there, do you?
Theodore Hoffman: Richard Cross has always managed to stay one step ahead of us. If he's dying, it just might allow us to catch up.

Unfortunately another great show got canceled
9 December 2001 | by (USA) – See all my reviews

Yet again another great show was canceled. Good thing shows like "Law & Order" & "The Practice" are still on the air. "Murder One" was an excellent show with great acting. The twists & turns on the show kept it riveting. I am a bit partial to Dylan Baker who's a very good actor. There won't be another good show like this again. If on the slim chance there is it will get canceled. Good shows always do.
