After the cancellation of House of Buggin' (1995), John Leguizamo was invited to join the cast of this show but he turned it down.
In his autobiography, Artie Lange says that he was fired during the second season due to his drug abuse. He says that the cast and crew attempted to have an intervention for him but he fled the studio.
A parody of Schindler's List (1993) titled "Schindler's Lost" was filmed in the first season. But Steven Spielberg did not want it to air. Executive producer Quincy Jones, a friend of Spielberg's, agreed to delete the sketch and it never aired.
John DiMaggio was offered a spot as a cast member in the fourth season but turned it down to work on Futurama (1999) instead.
After cancellation, it became one of the most viewed sketch comedy shows through unauthorized online videos.
Miss Swan's pin number is revealed in one sketch to be 7926. Or "SWAN", as it would spell on a key pad.
Eddie Pepitone was considered to replace Artie Lange in the second season.
Jimmy Kimmel was considered to join the cast for the first season.
