Big Brother Jade Lynch interview: 'The clique will be blown to pieces'

20 June 2015 5:16 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Sad times. The Big Brother compound lost a brilliant housemate last night (June 19), as Jade Lynch became the latest person to be evicted.

Following the eviction result, Digital Spy and others caught up with Jade this morning as she talked about Brian Belo, if there actually was a clique, her views on "misunderstood" Helen Wood, and... paprika obviously!

Hi Jade. How are you feeling this morning?

"Yeah, just a little bit disorientated. I woke up in the wrong place because I should be still in the house! But other than that, I'm fine. I'm slowly integrating myself back into society."

You were emotional when you were leaving the house. You took a long time to say goodbye. Why was that?

"It was because I didn't feel my time was up. I didn't want to go. I wanted to stay with all my heart and I didn't feel like that should have been my time, »

'Game of Thrones' Recap: Sick! Sansa Has Worst Wedding Night in 'Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken'

17 May 2015 3:13 PM, PDT | Moviefone | See recent Moviefone news »

Seriously? If it wasn't official before, it is now after "Game of Thrones" Season 5, Episode 6: Ramsay Snow Bolton is The New Worst. Even worse than Joffrey. Ramsay doesn't seem to be the only one who gets off on Sansa Stark suffering. The showrunners seem to like it too. In "Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken," Sansa was -- unfortunately -- bent and broken in all the wrong ways. Her wedding night looked a bit like Daenerys Targaryen's wedding back in Season 1. But there will be no love story ahead with Ramsay. Instead, Ramsay is already showing his true colors. Theon Greyjoy gave Sansa away out in the godswood, then was forced to watch as virgin Sansa was disrobed and done from behind. Sick. Joffrey would probably be just as bad, but Sansa being raped in her home of Winterfell as Theon watched? "Disturbing" doesn't quite cover it. "Horrifying" gets close. Then again, »

Braavos In the House of Black and White, Arya is hard at work as a servant girl, sweeping the stone floors of the dark, dank interior as Jaqen H'ghar tends to followers of the Many-Faced God. Upset at her lot as a mere floorsweeper, Jaqen stresses the meaning of their clandestine phrase, "Valar dohaeris, All men must serve." He believes that Arya still aims to serve herself instead of the Many-Faced God, or in fact their true god, that of Death. As if to drive this point home, Arya watches as a recently deceased man is carted off to the depths of the House of Black and White. [caption id="attachment_394617" align="alignright" width="360"] Image via HBO[/caption] Arya is soon challenged by another servant of the Many-Faced God, but before their fight can turn bloody, Jaqen interferes. Panos Koutras’ Xenia sweeps Hellenic awards

Director refuses to accept trophies in protest over immigrant issues in Greece.Scroll down for full list of winners

Panos H Koutras’ Xenia swept the sixth Hellenic Film Academy Awards on Monday evening (March 30) including the top prizes for best film, best director and best screenplay.

The film, which played in Un Certain Regard at Cannes 2014, was also awarded best editing, best costumes and best supporting actor for Angelos Papadimitriou.

But in an emotionally charged gesture, the director and his team chose not to accept the awards until the left wing Syriza government passed a bill regarding second-generation, referring to more than 100,000 immigrant children born and raised in Greece who are being denied Greek citizenship.

Xenia centres on two teenage boys who cross the entire country in search of their Greek father, after their Albanian mother passes away. They hope he will identify them as sons and secure their citizenship.

The New Girlfriend continues director Francoise Ozon's investigations into womanhood and fragmented social mores. His prior work, the epic Young & Beautiful and to an extent In The House were attempts to depict sexuality in different socio-political spheres and generations, but with his latest film, these ideals are as transparent as ever.Billing itself as a psychological drama, the film follows married woman Claire (the extremely talented Anais Demoustier) who has lost her lifelong friend too early. A chance encounter one day reveals something shocking about her friend's widower, and Claire's passion for life and her refusal to accept her friend's death are driven to unpredictable obsession. It is quickly revealed that aforementioned widower David (Romain Duris) is a cross-dresser. 'Timbuktu' (2015) Movie Review

20 February 2015 10:01 AM, PST | Rope of Silicon | See recent Rope Of Silicon news »

With Timbuktu, director and co-writer Abderrahmane Sissako has created a film to test our understanding of what words such as "terrorist", "jihadist" and "Islamic extremists" mean as much as what they don't mean, offering a glimpse into a world I could never say I understand or even comprehend. Sissako's level of empathy for his characters is what gives the film its weight, opening your eyes as you just might find your morals tested in ways you couldn't have expected. Set during the takeover of the titular Malian city by self-described jihadists in 2012, the film is both horrifying and beautiful, managing to even merge dread with small doses of humor as a group of young people play soccer in a dusty field, but must halt their game so a donkey can pass through. The dread in this instance is far more lasting, coming from the fact they are playing without a ball. »
