Season 3, Episode 5: ClickOriginal Air Date—27 September 1997 Seth is interested to see the catalog-ordered Verona XG-20 remote he just got appears to be universal - it works on the stereo as well as the TV. But he's even more amazed when, turning it on "PAUSE" on his younger sister Jamie as a joke really does stop her tap-dancing! He's then informed by the still-playing tape that came with the remote by Tony Huband that "It's not a toy!" Eager to see what else it can do, he continues testing it: changing the color of his fish, rewinding/fast-forwarding passerby, hitting channel change so the school bully transforms into something more benign. But soon he goes on to bigger things, like pausing his teacher to cheat on tests, or his family when they want him to give the remote to Janie, despite his best friend's opposition. After all, none of Tony's phone-recorded warnings mean anything. Right?

Original Air Date—25 April 1998 Jessica Walters is always thinking of ways to get more money, and refuses to loan her brother Sam any for their parents' anniversary present without the string of interest attached. Their mom overhears and has her clean the attic to avoid losing her allowance to him for the week. While there, she finds a "collectible" model town she wishes she could sell but must share with Sam - then hears a telephone other than her cellular ringing, opens the pay-phone in the model, and is transported into the town of Karlsville. Karl, the mayor, tells her over the phone then in person that she can become rich there, even by starting with selling his famous lemonade at $1 per cup. He warns her not to raise the price, but Jessica does when she keeps hearing how the drink is worth much more, and even hides some of the beverage to demand more payment for the last glass. But when the game is up, the townsfolk come after her, and it turns out she's been transformed into a pig...
Original Air Date—2 May 1998 Matthew Erikson's coach only lets him in his baseball game because the referee reminded that all players must participate - and strikes out, losing the game as the coach predicted. Shutting himself in his room, he tosses his ball to himself - and it falls into the baseball diamond of the model town he and Todd brought home the night before. Taken into Karlsville, he's announced to be the star of that night's game that an invisible crowd watches. But it's a one-man game, where the bases move and lava-flows spring up to keep them out of reach, the pitching machines seem to aim to injure the batter, and the only other players eventually called in at request are monsters...
Original Air Date—9 May 1998 Matthew and Jessica discover Todd has entered Karlsville through the certificate he got saying he was their grand-prize winner, so they have to get in themselves to save him before they can destroy it. They're not sure if they'll be able to save themselves - or even how to get in, since the phone isn't ringing or the ballpark announcer summoning to admit them as they did before. But they'll have to act fast, because it turns out that Todd's prize is becoming a resident of Karlsville - meaning that he, like every other child that Karl has taken power over, will be turned into a plastic figurine who will come to life every once in a while...
