This short-lived George Wendt vehicle was funny but just didn't make it. Essentially Wendt reprised his role of Norm from "Cheers" but this time in a suburban atmosphere very similar to CBS's smash "There's Something about Raymond." Brian Doyle Murray was also very, very funny here. I noticed it only ran 7 episodes during the spring of 1995. I recall that this show and "Northern Exposure" were shown the door by CBS execs at about the same time.
His self-titled show didn't make it, but we all still love Wendt.
