interesting commentary on tv violence
1 January 2003 | by (canada) – See all my reviews

I first saw this short film tonight on cable. It basically consists of various objects, animals, and people being shot or blown up. The simple "cartoony" animation style is juxtaposed with the extreme violence of the subject matter; while I am no stranger to television and movie violence, i found myself a little uncomfortable with the violent imagery that was flashed in quick succession. If you ever get a chance to watch this short, you will find it very thought provoking, in that it shows the medias increasing reliance on violence and shock value to draw viewers.
