One person has been left in critical condition after being shot Wednesday night during protests in Charlotte, North Carolina, according to the City of Charlotte. In a tweet following the victim's hospitalization, the City of Charlotte wrote that the civilian was on life support, correcting an earlier tweet that stated the shooting had ended in a fatality.
