Sex & Nudity


At the start, two people are having sex. They take off each others clothes and thrust rapidly. No genitalia, breasts or buttocks are seen, but naked backs and feet.

One man is blasted with water to get clean, we see his stomach and his back.

People are seen naked with only sheets covering their genitals, but else, they're completely naked and several buttocks are visible.

One scene takes place in a prison shover. We can see naked men's buttocks from a distance, but the characters in front from the stomach and up.

One man is raped once, it's disturbing and depressing but no nudity is shown and it's off-screen

One man wants another to perform a blow job on him and he says the following: "I am gonna give you something to swallow, and you are gonna swallow it." However, nothing happens.

There is talk about rape, but it is only mentioned, nothing graphic.

We can see a woman's naked feet from the stomach and down on a picture, it's from the side so no nudity is shown.

The famous image of Marilyn Monroe with her skirt blowing up is seen on a picture in one shot.

A man says that he made love to his wife under an oak tree before asking her to marry him.

A woman is cheating on her husband.

Violence & Gore


One man is beaten up by a prison guard, it's upsetting and all of the violence is on-screen. Whoever, it's a dark light through the scenes and no blood or injuries is visible. It's later told that the man died from the beating

One man gets raped in one scene. He defends himself but, in the end they rape and beat him up, off-screen.

One man is shot in the chest four times. Bullet wounds and blood bursting is seen, but it's brief and in it's dark. Later we see the mans dead body in a pool of blood and visible bullet wound on his back.

One man breaks the nose of another with a film roll. The man is then beaten up so hard, he almost dies. No blood but he is kicked many of times in the stomach and hit in the face once.

One man shoots himself in the head. The camera cuts away right before, and blood is seen splattering onto the glass behind him, and the glass is broken right after. Seconds later we see him with a wound in his head and a blood trail is seen from his neck.

One man hangs himself. We only see his feet jerk, and later we see the dead body hanging with a rope around the neck. This is more sad and depressing then graphic.

One man holds a knife to another man's throat, he doesn't kill him but a small wound is seen on his neck

A man is beaten by several prison guards. He is hit several times and falls to the ground. He tries to crawl away, but is dragged off-screen and the beating continues. He is later seen injured and bruised and it is stated that he spent the rest of his life in a hospital.

A man is beaten and we see his bruised and bloody face.



Some abuse of "Jesus" and "God." Twenty-seven uses of f*ck (several with mother-), many uses of sh*t, and some uses of b*tch and a**.


People drink beer on a rooftop in a long scene.

One man is drunk and he holds a whiskey bottle in his hands.

People smoke throughout the movie in multiple scenes.

Some other minor drinking.


The movie has a rather dark tone throughout.

A villainous character's beating and aftermath may be still be hard to watch for some, considering its degree of brutality.

A character's death is sudden and unsettling. The man is shot multiple times.

A man is raped and beaten - not onscreen, but we see his bruises and cuts and it may be very upsetting for some viewers.

A main character hangs himself; sad and upsetting.

The final third of the movie is fairly suspenseful, but the ending is very joyful.
