I don't know whether or not "Beauty Evil Rose" even ranks as a Cat-III movie. Aren't these films supposed to be extremely violent, nauseating and gross? My "favorite" Cat-III installment so far has always been "The Ebola Syndrome". That movie is a non-stop series of utterly repulsive sequences and you literally need to keep a barfing bag near you when watching it. I suppose "Beauty Evil Rose" simply got labeled as Cat-III because it's extremely sleazy and features numerous amounts of unexciting soft-core sex-sequences. Elements like storyline, continuity, logic and acting performances seem to have no importance whatsoever and, if you would take out the extended footage of sex and female nudity, this film would only last about 30 minutes. I was hardly able to follow the plot, but it appears to center on some kind of ancient witch who kidnaps young girl to perform all kind of rancid experiments with. And even though I have no idea how they got involved, there also are Kung-Fu fighting priests and giant penis monsters walking through the sets. You'd expect a film containing such strange characters and loads of sexual intercourse to be worthwhile, but "Beauty Evil Rose" truly is a boring and soporific turkey. The humor is not of all funny and the complete lack of gore is unforgivable. I know I should have searched for "Red To Kill" instead…
