Wow! What can I say? Amazing anime, with a fantastic soundtrack and an ingenious way of remaking the original "Journey to the West" into a modern AND likeable series (Which is pretty much impossible these days!). Some episodes are hilarious and well depicted, others are darker and delve deeper into each characters' mysterious- and shocking- past. It's well varied and it is one of the very best anime series! Also see the original Japanese anime of Saiyuki- completely unmissable! Although you DO need subtitles it's definitely still worth it. However, it's not really for people (Like my mum!) who REALLY appreciate the original chinese legend. This is because they think that it's ruined. Oh well. Verdict: 10/10!
