Trivia

The first version of the screenplay for this film was written by Dennis Hackin. A second, drastically different, was written by Clay Walker in 1990. When Matt McColm was cast and pre-production started, they had completely changed the concept and had a script penned by William Vigil that was supposed to be directed by Michael Schroeder. Production stalled for a while because of location issues and other writers came in. See more »

Huh?
7 December 1998 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This movie is basically another ridiculous C-grade action movie. It's the kind of drivel that's right at home at 4:00AM on Showtime. I still can't figure out how this film is in any way connected to the original Red Scorpion. It's not a real sequel, it's just using the name to sell itself.
