I've seen much better

Portrait of a Serial Rapist is to Cat III flicks what The Ripper is to slasher flicks--an overall bad entry in its respective subgenre with a few cheap deviant thrills thrown in to sucker you in.

My copy had no subs but this movie is not too much more than its title reflects. Danny Lee's not-so-bright but still lovable band of dumbbell HK detectives (usually annoying but not even too funny here--although in Chinese the dialogue mught have been really side-splitting for all I know) track down the baddie and the thing is SOV for crissakes--the cheapness hurts here, too where some way slicker production might have been more effective. The sleaze is where it counts, though and this bitch delivers somewhat in that respect with some hot rape scenes and whatnot. For die-hard Cat III fans only--6/10.
