A high school senior comes to visit Port Chester (aka Politically Correct U) for the weekend, and the admissions department mistakenly sets him up to stay with Droz, a seven year student and party-animal who lives in The Pit, the most offensive house on campus. After trying to pawn the pre-freshman off on his house mate, Droz sets off on his normal daily activities including disrupting a political protest by throwing meat at a group of vegan protesters. The President of the University then receives a number of complaints, and with the help of her lackey, she may finally have the power to kick Droz's house off campus. But the Pit throws an all-campus rager where George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic performs, and everything might turn out alright if the various political groups can forget their protests for one night and just have fun together. 90's Crazy Campus Life depicted so well...... (Jeremy Piven who?)
5 February 2004 | by (Herts, UK) – See all my reviews

Hit Me!!!

Jeremy Piven really is impressive in this role, which frankly gained my attention. This really makes the film..... HE IS THE FILM, well almost.

Is It For U?

Hate over glossy hollywood productions? prefer smaller budgets and original acting?

This is PCU, a college film unlike Road Trip or American Pie 1,2,3,126,5002, whatever... Some gloss, great acting(my god it really does make the film!), good setting, good script, no great script!!!

Two points though... the plot is not the most complicated ever.... the characters are sometimes stereotypical and predictable... but thats college movies... how else can it be done..

Trust me.... this made my year! BB
