South Shaolin master was a film that amply delivered the goods for me. The characters were played by real wushu performers, and this was evident in the grace and skill of the fight scenes. The plot was about average quality for a film of this type but with the bonus of the intriguing and believable travelling kung fu performer characters. The final bad dude is disposed of pretty quickly, but the hero does use a sweet move on him. The fighting is varied, and often ace, with some real good weapons fighting. There's some nice training as well, and basically my only complaint is that, although the film is ace, with the caliber of the performers on screen, it could have been even better than it was. Still well worth a look though for the kung fu enthusiast.
