Storyline

On his 1000th birthday, a mean Leprechaun gets to choose a bride by making her sneeze three times, then she's his...only the bride he chooses is the daughter of his slave (who fouls up the wedding) so Leprechaun must wait until his 2000th birthday to claim the woman of his nightmares. The descendant of the woman he wanted to marry already has a boyfriend: a brave young boy named Cody, who lives with his swindler uncle Morty and together they run a tour company called Darkside Tours. Leprechaun soon wakes up, kills a bunch of people and kidnaps his bride to be. It's soon up to Cody to save her, and only wrought iron can destroy a Leprechaun. Morty has an idea, but it soon goes horribly wrong when he gets too greedy. Cody ventures into Leprechaun's home to save Bridget, but little does he know that a leprechaun's home has many surprises. Goofs

Ian hears the Leprechaun's laugh in the garage but later when Leprechaun is trash talking him Ian somehow doesn't hear him, where as it was established earlier he could. It's possible that taking into account Ian didn't hear the lawnmower blades and their noise that the Leprechaun's magic was so powerful it blocked out any outside noise besides Bridget. See more »

Quotes

Cody: You can't drive the tour.
Morty: Why not?
Cody: Because you're plastered!
Morty: What difference does that make? Now, never forget rule number one.
Cody: I know, never turn down a paying customer.
Morty: I may be a little loose, but I am not so far gone that I would turn away a packed hearse.
[Morty drunkenly tries to exit the bathroom, but walks into a toilet]
Morty: Of course, there's always rule number two.
Cody: Which is?
Morty: Never kill a paying customer.

Very clever and hip horror film you'll love which will leave you feeling good
11 August 2008 | by See all my reviews

LEPRECHAUN 2, in my opinion, is a very clever and hip horror film you'll love which will leave you feeling good. The only things about it that scared me, like the first two, were some of the blood and gore and when the leprechaun (Warwick Davis) suddenly appeared or jumped out from somewhere. Other than that, I didn't get scared at all. Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say that everyone involved in this film did an outstanding job. In conclusion, to all you horror film lovers that have not seen this very clever and hip horror film you'll love which will leave you feeling good, I highly recommend it! You're in for a good time as well as some pure chills and thrills, so go to the video store, rent it or buy it, turn down the lights, lock all your doors and windows, and enjoy!
