This movie was originally to be filmed in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada), but the city officials refused to remove several trees (which would have been replaced after the end of filming).

Goofs:

Continuity: At the beginning, the boys are running through the brush with buckets on their heads, fighting with swords. They pass behind some leaves for a split second, and the buckets are gone.

The best film i have ever seen..

Dispite some of the reviews, i think this film is one of the best ever made. i have seen it a hundred times. the sweeping score, the Montana backdrop and the plot are just some of the things that make this film great. i would recommend everyone to see, although not everyone will like what they see as it requires a certain taste. 11/10
