The only animal that is not actually a real one is Kaa. Due to the difficulty in training snakes, a combination of CGI, animatronics and puppetry was used. Also in this film adaptation he is not referred to by his name; only once he is referred to as "The Great Snake" by Mowgli. See more »
When the lady points out monkeys, she identifies first one as a macaque, then the next two as Rhesus monkeys (which are also called Rhesus macaques), and the last two as langurs. I love this movie,I rated it a 10.I can't believe this movie rated so low!This movie is full of action and adventure.The monkeys in it are a hoot.I loved the Indiana Jones style ending.The casting is perfect.My teenage daughter adores this movie.A must see that is perfect for the whole family.
