Did You Know?
The opening scene where Jackson Hammond pulls into the Coastal gas station (located at the corner of Texas Avenue and 6th Street) was filmed in Kemah, TX. When he takes Natalie Voss as his hostage, there is an empty grass field in the backdrop - the field is now the location of a Passport Inn. See more
In a few of the freeway scenes, including the scene where Jack asks Natalie her name, the squealing of the police cars tires can be heard in the background, however their sirens can't be heard. See more
[after ending credits
You smell that? Do you smell that? Nothing else in the world smells like that, son. I love the smell of napalm in the morning! You know, one day we had a hell bomb. After credits have finished, Charlie Sheen, in a clown suit, sitting behind the wheel, recites the "I love the smell of napalm in the morning" speech from Apocalypse Now. See more
