Trivia

There is a brief reference to Motley Crue's lead singer Vince Neil killing someone. In 1984, while the band Hanoi Rocks was taking a break from touring because their lead singer Michael Monroe had injured his ankle, some members of Hanoi Rocks ended up at Vince's home for a party. Vince and Hanoi Rocks drummer Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley went to get more liquor. Vince was driving, even though he was already drunk. On the return trip Vince was speeding and lost control of the car, resulting in a terrible collision with another vehicle. Razzle died instantly and the two people in the other car suffered severe injuries and were left with lifelong complications from these injuries. Vince walked away with a concussion, a $2.5 million fine, and served 28 days in county jail. See more »

Ian: [on the air] Oh yeah! That was for all you pinheads out there too hip to take off your leather jackets in this 95 degree heat. Now I know when the weather gets like this it brings all you nut bags out of the wood pile. And since I am a trouble magnet, I have one thing to say to you bozos, and that is, back off. Here's the Sons of Thunder from the debut album Scrabbled Eggs and Wobbly Legs. You're listening to Ian Shock, on the station with more hair, more flair, yet so debonair, ...

This Movie Rocks!!!
4 April 2004 | by (Michigan, United States) – See all my reviews

I have seen this many times and never grow tired of watching it. It seems the more I watch it, the funnier it gets. It is freaking hilarious!

I especially think that Steve Buscemi and Brendan Fraser are the funniest in this flick. I love the girl that played Chazz's girlfriend as well, the way she would beat the crap out of Chazz was too much!

I don't think that anybody that ever was in a Rock-Roll band could watch this movie without cracking up. I guess maybe you had to be there?

If you haven't seen this film I recommend that you rent it, or better yet buy a copy to add to your collection. This is a classic Rock-n-Roll comedy that you must see.
