'Raines' on Yoba; 'Legal' ups Zimmer

9 October 2006 | The Hollywood Reporter | See recent The Hollywood Reporter news »

Malik Yoba is set to co-star opposite Jeff Goldblum in NBC's midseason drama series Raines. Meanwhile, Constance Zimmer has been upped to a regular on ABC's Boston Legal. Raines, from NBC Universal TV Studio, centers on Michael Raines (Goldblum), an eccentric, brilliant cop who talks to dead victims who help him solve his crimes. Yoba will play Raines' ex-partner and confidant. New York Undercover alum Yoba most recently co-starred opposite Andre Braugher on FX's Thief. Yoba is managed by Buchwald and Associates and manager Matt Luber at Nine Yards Entertainment. »
