A family drama set in Oregon centering around the McKenna family and their adventure guide business.

This short-lived family drama just never quite took flight. Interestingly, the show featured a young Jennifer Love Hewitt right before she landed a role on Party of Five where she went on to garner plenty of attention.

McKenna - which only lasted a few episodes - unfortunately never figured out what kind of show it wanted to be. It seemed part Dawson's Creek and part Fall Guy... never really appealing to either type of audience.

The scenery, however, was spectacular. Set in Bend, Oregon, the show's main star - after the as yet undiscovered Hewitt - was clearly the background scenery. The area has played host to several movies over the years, but none that captured the natural beauty of the area like McKenna.
