2 August 2013 1:20 PM, PDT | GeekTyrant | See recent GeekTyrant news »

It's been officially announced that Ellen DeGeneres will host the Oscars, and it will be her second time. I enjoy watching the Academy Awards. I've watched them every year for as long as I can remember. DeGeneres was entertaining the first time around, and I'm sure she'll do a fine job next time around. Before the official press release came out DeGeneres tweeted,

“It’s official: I’m hosting the #Oscars! I’d like to thank @TheAcademy, my wife Portia and, oh dear, there goes the orchestra"

What do you think about DeGeneres hosting the Oscars again?

Ellen DeGeneres To Host 86th Academy Awards

2 August 2013 9:01 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

The Academy Awards organizers are really on the ball this year. Avoiding speculation, rumor and debate, they’ve gone ahead and announced the host for the 86th Academy Awards: Ellen DeGeneres.
