It doesn't get much better than Dave Franco belting out Backstreet Boys in the middle of a New York City Apple Store. To promote his new film Nerve, the 31-year-old posed a perky challenge to friends and fans: daring people to "find their nerve" (using #FindYourNerve on social media) and record themselves singing in public. The actor kicked off the challenge by singing the Backstreet Boys classic "I Want It That Way" - in the middle of an Apple store in Soho. 'Batman v Superman' Featurette Shows How Zod's Body Was Made

2 April 2016 3:58 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

For the blockbuster Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Adi created two ultra-realistic replicas of the deceased General Zod that would withstand close scrutiny by a camera lense. Fitness trainer Greg Plitt came to Adi for us to lifecast his body from the neck down while our colleague Barney Burman loaned us a headcast of actor Michael Shannon. Once the Shannon headcast was copied both the head and body were run in silicone with a polyfoam fill to make them solid. Tony Matijevich, Brian Clawson, and Tim Leach created both Zod bodies. Denise Baer punched hair; Mike Larrabee painted both Zods. You can check out the whole process in this cool new video,

Following his titanic struggle against General Zod, Metropolis has been razed to the ground and Superman is the most controversial figure in the world. While for many he is still an emblem of hope, a growing number »

Can 'Batman v Superman' Break All Pre-Summer Box Office Records?

22 March 2016 9:42 AM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

While we normally have to wait for summer before movies put up truly huge box office numbers, fans have been coming out in droves for Deadpool and Zootopia over the past two months. That trend will continue this weekend with Warner Bros.' highly-anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which has been tracking quite well over the past few weeks. With just three days left until it hits theaters, the analysts at Pro.BoxOffice.com are projecting that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will easily take the top spot with a whopping $159 million. If it does manage to hit this projection, it will be the highest-grossing movie to ever debut in March, breaking The Hunger Games' record of $152.5 million set in 2012.

21 March 2016 11:40 AM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Last night, Warner Bros. held the New York City premiere for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, with the studio hosting a live stream of the red carpet festivities. Official critic reviews for the movie are still under a strict embargo, but while we wait for those to roll in, Comic Book Movie assembled a number of early Twitter reactions from fans who were lucky enough to attend the premiere last night. The reactions are all exceedingly positive, despite a rash of rumors that the studio was worried about the movie.

Last month, an unconfirmed report surfaced claiming Warner Bros.' was "worried" about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, after the studio started screening the movie for select individuals. The report also claimed the studio may even push production on Justice League Part 1, and remove Zack Snyder as the director. Just a few days later, Warner Bros. put those rumors to rest, »

Just one day after the New York Premiere, new footage has surfaced from the highly-anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, hitting theaters in just four short days on March 25. Amazon has a new TV spot which features some never-before-seen footage, including the Batwing crashing, Martha Lane (Diane Lane) offering some advice to her adopted son Clark Kent/Superman (Henry Cavill), plus more footage of Superman's intense battle with Batman (Ben Affleck). While many think that Superman has a natural edge over Batman, due to all of his powers, the end of this first TV spot proves that The Dark Knight may have a chance.

In all of the previously released footage we've seen of Batman and Superman's fight, Superman is shown to have a clear edge, in some scenes literally tossing Batman around. The final moments of this new video are quite telling, showing Batman actually blocking one of Superman's punches, »

'Batman v Superman' Star Proves Glasses Are a Good Disguise

16 March 2016 6:22 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Probably since he was first introduced in Action Comics #1 way back in 1938, fans have wondered how Superman gets away with such a lame disguise as just a pair of correctional eye-glasses. How can he possibly hide from his loved ones and the general public in such a manner? Well, perhaps back in 1938, this wasn't such a great way to hide. But here in 2016, who even needs glasses to go unrecognized? That's the point Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star Henry Cavill makes in a new Instagram video.

Obviously, Henry Cavill is tired of getting the same question about Clark Kent's lame disguise. He thinks the glasses work. Here, in this current social media age, people are so consumed with themselves, Clark Kent doesn't even need glasses to go unrecognized on the streets of New York. Because no one cares!

Henry Cavill went wondering around Times Square without glasses, and no one noticed him. »

We even have some new photos to enjoy as we continue the countdown towards the March 25 release.

The clip is actually a longer version of a scene briefly teased in the trailers, where Lex Luthor gives Superman (Henry Cavill) a nefarious "pep talk," of sorts, trying to coheres him into fighting Batman (Ben Affleck). 'Batman v Superman' Deleted Scene Sends Jimmy Kimmel to the Rescue?

29 February 2016 10:50 AM, PST | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Last night after The Academy Awards, Jimmy Kimmel Live! held his annual post-Oscars special on ABC, which featured a number of stars including Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's Ben Affleck. During his interview segment with Jimmy Kimmel, the star revealed that a Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice scene he shot with the talk show host had to be cut for time, but, thankfully, he brought this clip for everyone to see. Unfortunately, this scene won't be featured when Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25, but it certainly is entertaining.

Of course, this isn't an actual scene from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but it's a parody of one scene we've seen in the previously released trailers, with Henry Cavill's Clark Kent meeting Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne for the first time. Jimmy Kimmel plays himself. Things take a hilarious turn »

'Today is a day for truth!' Today is also a day for a brand new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice sneak peek. Director Zack Snyder is on hand to show off new footage and talk about the story behind his superhero epic. This featurette mainly focuses on Turkish Airlines, and what it means to the production. The filmmaker first describes the tone of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and how it ties into 2013 blockbuster Man of Steel.

"With Batman V Superman, I wanted to continue this tone established in Man of Steel, but I really wanted to recapture some of the quality of the movies I loved, that inspired me. We spent a lot of time and were very careful about where we would go for the next journey into the DC universe. Watch Superman Beat on Batman in New 'Batman v Superman' Clip

29 February 2016 2:59 AM, PST | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

After the 2016 Oscars went down, Jimmy Kimmel Live! had Ben Affleck on the show and he brought an all-new clip from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice with him. In the clip, Batman seems to have gotten the wind knocked out of him, while Superman warns him to "stay down." Of course, Batman doesn't give up easily, and was right back on his feet delivering some sort of smokescreen that we can only think has some chemical in it that renders Superman's powers useless.

In the film, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante, fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.
