I was surprised and very entertained by this film. I saw it at the Museum of Modern Art as part of the series, "Boys & Girls of a Certain Age", which was produced for French television. I wish I could get a copy of it on videotape or see it again.
I saw the film a couple of years ago. I remember it being a surprisingly honest representation of adolescent infatuation. The lead character is a teenaged girl obsessed with John Travolta, and the film is so entrenched in her point of view that it's hard to really know it the melodramatic events that unfold at the end of the film are real or imagined.
I really enjoyed the film.
