Watch it at Amazon
I rented this one solely for the fact that one of my all-time favorite actors,Martin Kove was in this. Then I read a few semi-positive comments on it,and put it at the top of my NetFlix queue and finally viewed it. This is from PM Entertainment originally,so with that stated, you should expect nothing more then standard action/thriller fare with a low-budget expense (not knocking on them, because some of their works have proved to be very entertaining, such as CIA:Codename Alexa for one). Action flicks are so hard to pull off with tight budgets, and thats where it failed most. The fight scenes (same could be said for mostly any low-budget or PM Entertainment release),are always so ridiculously awful and dull.Martin Kove does an alright job,not his best work obviously.Michael Worth shows promise,Alex Cord plays a solid villain and Steven Vincent Leigh once again shows us all how underrated and underused he is in the business and asks the question,WHY didn't he get more leading roles as an action star? Bottom line is,I really just can't recommend this. There's millions of other movies that do this better and are a lot easier to track down,so go with them.Your better off watching a repeated viewing of Bloodsport or such. Just can't recommend it.Not the worst movie I have ever seen by far,but definitely just isn't something to go out of your way for,and believe me,I've seen A lot of low-budget action flicks.
