The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Only bare chested men in the locker room. Rudy in the locker room after practice with his shirt off and ice packs on his shoulder.

Violence & Gore

After Rudy gets to the football team, there are several bloody noses and bloody knuckles. There are a couple of scenes of Rudy with his shirt off in the locker room with an ice pack on one shoulder and bruises elsewhere.

Profanity

"Maybe he'll let you Wipe his ass." "God damned" occurs many times. "My job is to beat the shit out of you for the next 5 weeks." "Everything you said is bullshit." "You are so full of crap."

A few scenes of drinking beer in bars. One scene Rudy has clearly had enough to drink that he's visibly drunk but doesn't really do anything obnoxious, just let's something slip that he didn't want to be known.

Early in the movie, a worker in the steel mill is killed in a fiery blast. It's sort of an intense / scary scene, and there's a lot of crying and sadness in the follow-on scene at the funeral.
