A friend stopped over to say hi on his way to blockbuster to return some movies... He offered to leave RED SHOE DIARIES #5 since my wife and I had never seen any. This movie contained about eighty-six minutes of what I felt was incredibly BAD ACTING, mediocre lighting, convoluted attempt at a plot, bad music, etc. It was such soft-core porn, it actually gave me a "soft-on". I was hoping it would get my wife in a "steamy mood", but she actually fell asleep out of boredom. I probably won't spend any more movie time watching the RED SHOE series. Don't get me wrong.... I love a good steamy erotic thriller, but this style just didn't work for me... always felt like I was watching a "contrived" story line to get the viewer hot and bothered with the expectation of some good steamy SEX...with no real "payoff".
