Storyline

A young couple, Mary and John, awaiting a baby is in search for a house when they decide to buy that lovely old villa they found by coincidence. What they both do not know is that Myron, the owner of that villa and their new neigbour, is a dangerous psychopath and that Mary reminds him of his dead mother. Mary begins to wonder about Myron's odd behaviour, but everybody thinks Mary's fears are due to her being pregnant.

Goofs

In researching Myron's past, Mary comes across a 1943 newspaper article which lists his father as being a lieutenant in the USAF. This is over 4 years before there was an independent Air Force, so it would still have been listed as the Army Air Corps, or the USAAF (Army Air Force)

surprisingly good!!

I just bought this movie and four other movies for 15 $ or so. I just picked this movie up by random.

I watched it alone tonight, and got a good thrill. Rod Steiger really did a good job playing the "slimy" doctor. He really made me get angry with him.

The movie has a really good/dark atmosphere all the way through! Believable character reactions!

Watch it if you'd like to get a good thrill! And if you've seen all the classics already ;)
