There is one brief sex scene. A woman lies on top of a man and we see here head move back and forth but nothing other than that.

In one scene, a crackhead who doesn't have any money to give a drug dealer tries to compensate the man by offering him oral sex.

In the opening scene, a man and a woman are shot and killed; the shooting is off screen, but we see the man with bloody bullet holes and lying in a pool of blood. Later, we see security footage of the man getting shot through the head and splattering.

A man shoots and kills a man and we see lots of bloody wounds.

A young man is shot through the head and blood and brain matter spray a window. Another is shot through the shoulder, and bleeds profusely; we see him being carried to the hospital literally drenched in blood (he lives).

A man is shot and his head briefly appears to come off (we see lots of blood and matter spray a window). Another is shot many times through the chest at close range and blood splatters from the wounds.

A man is shot through the stomach and killed in a quick, bloodless, but no less frightening scene.

Two young men are graphically shot to death by machine guns in a drive-by shooting; one is riddled with bullets and dies instantly, while the other is practically torn apart slowly by bullets while shielding a young boy; we see him covered with blood and blood gushing out of his mouth as he dies.

About three brutal beatings.

Profanity is everywhere as well, occuring almost constantly. 225 "F" words (more than half with the "mother" prefix), 150 S-words. The N-word is used constantly throughout the film as are mild obscenities and anatomical terms.

O-Dog, A-Wax,Caine's father and a couple of others smoke Marijuana.Caine and others drink alcohol including beer.Caine's mother is seen shooting heroin.Caine and his friends sell drugs.Caine is seen cooking crack.

Rated R for strong bloody violence, pervasive language, brief sexuality and some drug use.

Very bloody shootings and beatings throughout, many occuring suddenly. The film's atmosphere is very bleak and violent. Not for the faint of heart.

Rated R for strong bloody violence, drug use and pervasive language
