Semi-cute horror flick.I will resit the urge to use the cliché 'lacks bite"., 6 August 2005
Author: Mark Squibb from Canada

A noisy reporter kidnaps a dog from a research faculty. The dog turns out to be a genetically engineered super dog, which soon goes on a killing spree.

I think the man reason I wanted to see this was the cast:Ally Sheedy and Lance Henriksen? How can you go wrong.Unfornatly, both give lacking performance:on par with the movie. There are some disturbing scenes involving animals(so animal fans may want to shy away)and some of the most annoying kids in cinema history,.The is a small amount of gore for the genre fans.I also cant believe that IMDb doesn't list this as a comedy, most of the time the film is either trying to be cute, or crude, and it wasn't until the conclusion that we got some horror action. The direction is average, featuring some pre Blair Witch shaky cam and a very sunny atmosphere. The writing is just average,no characters really stood out,and the dialog is just standard. All though the concept is very interesting.

Not really recommend,simply average.
