30 Reasons You Shouldn't Apologize For Having a Crush on Alec Baldwin

20 June 2017 5:50 PM, PDT | | See recent Popsugar news »

Why do you think the characters in Clueless called hot guys "Baldwins"? Back in the '80s and '90s, Alec and his brothers were the equivalent of today's Hemsworths when it came to serving up sexiness as a family. But Alec . . . oh, Alec. That strong jaw. The dark hair. Those piercing blue eyes that could just cut right through you. On shows like Knots Landing and films like Malice, The Hunt For Red October, Glengarry Glen Ross, and even Beetlejuice, Alec Baldwin was it. I refuse to sit here and pretend that he doesn't give off "daddy" vibes and that I don't still find him attractive (when he's not dressed up as Donald Trump or voicing a cartoon baby) - because, yes, his hair may be a shimmery shade of gray now, but those baby blues can still stare right into your soul. Why This May Be Nicole Kidman's Best Year Yet: How After Three Decades in Hollywood, She's Only Getting Started

20 June 2017 3:00 AM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

Like a fine wine, Nicole Kidman just gets better with age.  The Australian-bred movie star celebrates her 50th birthday today, a major milestone preceded by many accomplishments, wins and successes spanning nearly thirty years in the spotlight. A star from the get-go, Kidman's American debut opposite then-future (now ex) husband Tom Cruise in 1990's Days of Thunder led to box office hit after box office hit in Malice and To Die For.  She earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, an Oscar and Golden Globe in 2003 for her stunning performance in The Hours, but now 14 years later, Nicole is even more beloved and acclaimed than she probably ever thought possible. The Best Of The Best – The Greatest Writers and the scripts that made them great

Author: Dave Roper

Having scoured the ranks of actors to draw up a shortlist of the best of them and then a selection of their best work, we now move on to consider the best work by the greatest writers. This can be a harder thing to judge, given that there will often be a team of writers, or polishing work is done on a script that is otherwise someone else’s work. Quentin Tarantino did some polishing on Crimson Tide, but by contrast his script for Natural Born Killers is much less distinctively his, bearing as it does a lot of Oliver Stone’s fingerprints. What we will (try to) focus on are those writers who rather than being hacks for hire have instead crafted something all their own and seen it transition relatively unmolested to the screen.

As with the Best of the Best of the Actors, we »
