When Nat goes to file a missing person report at the police station, Officer Mitchell has a pastry with a candle that she puts in the drawer of her desk. As it goes in it looks to be a brand new candle and when she takes it out there is none left. It would be impossible for the candle to burn completely in the period of time.

Errors in geography

The plot of the movie requires the victims to try and reach the Mississippi River. In the opening scene, we see a desperate veteran running through the French Quarter (which is located in downtown New Orleans). Moments later, we see him running through a park towards the Mississippi River...with New Orleans visible in the background *across* the river.

Hand grenades are triggered by a small primer charge that sets off the plastic explosives through explosion. The primer charge explodes rather than merely causing sparks, which wouldn't set off the explosives anyway.

During the scene right after the medical examiner is shot through the peephole of his front door, the main character checks himself in the mirror. The mirror is half covered in blood splatter from the shooting. The location of the mirror being 25 feet away and at a 90 degree angle to the shooting, and the blood splatter pattern that looks like it is come from above, makes this an unlikely if not impossible location for blood splatter.

While on horseback, Douvee points and tells Nat to go and call the sheriff. She rides off. Next they both arrive at the warehouse together, but that's because Nat didn't go to call the sheriff when she rode off. And that's why Douvee looks awkward when she leave him standing alone.
