Ghost in the Machine (1993)
Karl Hochman: Excuse me... a little stiff. Caught a bitch of a virus.
Terry Monroe: Yeah?
Bram: Do me a favor.
Terry Monroe: Anything.
Bram: Turn off that damn machine.
[Terry switch off the ECG monitor Bram is hooked up to]
Salesman: [Karl is sniffing Terry's address book] Karl what are you doing?
Karl Hochman: [stops] Um... the woman that bought the Paper Warrior today, she forgot her address book and I was thinking about going down there and...
Karl Hochman: returning it.
Salesman: How did I get lucky enough to find you? That is a terrific gesture.
Karl Hochman: It'd be a real pleasure.
Computer Ghost of Karl: Guess again, Einstein. I'm dead already!
Phil Stewart: You don't think a hacker did this do you?
Bram: Well, when you leave it out in the open no self-respecting hacker is going to pass it by.
Phil Stewart: [grits teeth and pulls hair out] Auugghhh! God Damnit!
[tears out of room]
Phil Stewart: Get the hell out of my way!
Bram: You know you don't handle stress very well, Phil.
Phil Stewart: Jesus Christ.
Worker: [hands Elliot bad ladder] Here's your ladder sir.
Elliot Miller: What the hell is this?
[hits a metal thing on it which sways wildly]
Elliot Miller: What are trying to do? Kill me? Go get another ladder and make sure you fill out the right form this time. 12-M. That's M as in moron.
Worker: [looks at Elliot displeased]
Elliot Miller: Well go!
Veteran Cop: [to rookie cop] Looks like your gonna have a hell of a night as your first day on the force.
Computer Ghost of Karl: You can't run, you can't hide, you can't win.
Terry Monroe: The phone company called. Someone just dialed 700 dollars worth of 900 numbers in the last 24 hours.
Josh Munroe: Think about it. 700 bucks in 24 hours. I'd have Laryngitis.
Terry Monroe: How do you explain it then?
Josh Munroe: I don't know, maybe it was Axl. He humps anything that moves.
Terry Monroe: Don't get smart with me!
