The Demonic Toys were originally meant to go up against the Puppet Master puppets in Puppet Master 4 (released the same year), but the idea was scrapped when the idea of the Decapitron puppet for that film was developed. The Demonic Toys later went up against the Puppet Master puppets in 2004's Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys.
