The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

There is no depraved morally damaging depictions of sex in this film and none of the characters is ever shown naked.

Violence & Gore

Scale: 3/10

Lots of comic violence mischief and some small intense violence.

Dennis shoots an aspirin down Mr. Wilson's throat after trying to put in his mouth but nearly unintentionally gets bit (as Mr. Wilson keeps opening and closing his mouth while snoring).

Dennis accidentally spills some paint, uses a shop vac to vacuum it, but then realizing he has to dispose of the evidence so his parents don't find out shoots the glob outside which goes into Mr. Wilson's BBQ. Later Mr. Wilson takes a bite and makes a face, comments on it, and spits it out in a napkin.

A boyfriend and girlfriend bump heads accidentally.

Mr. Wilson trips over croquet racks and almost falls in a small pool. He inadvertently shoots a golf ball on his rear. After Dennis plays some ding dong ditch pranks, a boyfriend tapes a tack on the button only for Mr. Wilson to push it and have flour and water poured down on him.

Dennis splashes bath tub water on the floor and then uses Mr. Wilson's nasal spray as an old faithful water fountain. Realizing he has to replace this he does with mouth wash and uses toilet cleaner to replace the mouth wash. Mr. Wilson later stumbles painfully into each of these.

Mr. Wilson kicks Dennis's dog out of the house.

Mr. Wilson slips on moth balls falls on his back and then a canoe boat almost falls right down on his crotch. Garden Lanterns then tumble down on him.

Mr. Wilson is hit in the head with a flaming marshmallow.

A lady gets sucked onto the copier machine.

The bad guy uses a knife to steal a kid's apple. He makes a sort of clever face at this too.

The bad guy's leg catches fire. He has some things which hit him in the head. Three times he falls on a couch in the lake. One time he gets caught on a rope that's attached to a train.

The bad guy ties Dennis up, he gets free and explains how to do it. The bad guy flatulence at one point after being fed an entire pot of beans.

It is implied that a knife falls on the bad guy's rear end. He also nearly gets his hands smashed by the police car door.

Profanity

Scale: 1/10

Mr. Wilson does use the phrase "GD" a lot.

Scale: 1/10

The bad guy smokes cigarettes in a couple of scenes.

No alcohol.

No Drugs. Dennis though tries to give Mr. Wilson an aspirin tablet.

Scale: 2/10

Mr. Wilson gets very upset at Dennis and tells him that he doesn't want to see him ever again.

The bad guy explains how Dennis will be his hostage. After Dennis keeps annoying him he shouts to him to shut up which echoes through the woods.

The bad guy in this film is very dirty, grimy, shady, and especially a bit frightening (even still to me).

Total Content: 8/10

Content Scale breakdown (Its also suggested to multiply the category numbers above by 5 to match the scale below)
