Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer co-star Tom Towles has joined the lineup of the next Chicago edition of Fangoria’s Weekend of Horrors, to be held March 6-8, 2009 at the Wyndham Chicago O’Hare Hotel (6810 North Mannheim Road, Rosemont, Il). Besides playing Henry’s henchman Otis, Towles appeared as Lt. George Wydell in both House Of 1000 Corpses (pictured) and The Devil’S Rejects.

Anchor Bay Entertainment http://www.anchorbayentertainment.com has announced a New York City theatrical date for Rob Schmidt’s The Alphabet Killer. The fact-based serial-murder thriller opens Friday, December 12 at the Cinema Village (22 East 12th Street).
Scripted by Tom (The Attic) Malloy, Alphabet Killer stars Eliza Dushku from Schmidt’s Wrong Turn as an upstate New York police officer who descends into a mental hell as she investigates child murders in which the victims all have double initials (see our review here). The supporting cast includes Cary (Saw) Elwes, Timothy (The Dark Half) Hutton, Michael (Scanners) Ironside and Bill (Devil’S Rejects) Moseley. In addition to the commercial engagement, Alphabet Killer will have a red-carpet, invitation-only premiere at the Cinema Village on Thursday, Dec. 11, with special guests from the film in attendance.
