Orange Is the New Black star Uzo Aduba and So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley announced the 2015 Emmy nominations this morning. Spoiler alert: they were both nominated, along with Jon Hamm for Mad Men, Taraji P. Henson for Empire, Amy Schumer for Inside Amy Schumer, and Anthony Anderson for Black-ish. There are a few double nominees and a ton of first-timers, making this year's race already one of the most exciting in a while - not to mention the fact that Game of Thrones has a whopping 24 nominations. The 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards were announced on July 16 and HBO’s “Game of Thrones” received the most nominations.

Andy Samberg will host the 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards on September 20. Fox will broadcast them live from the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles.

Feel free to note anything we've left out in the comments below.Alive (1993) The real-life story of a Uruguayan rugby team whose plane crashed in the Andes is brought to harrowing life in Frank Marshall's drama, which adds an element of religious mysticism to the team's struggle to survive. Its casting was controversial even at the time — the Uruguayans are played by American actors like Ethan Hawke and Josh Lucas — but Marshall doesn't whitewash the horrors of the team's two-month ordeal, which included starvation, hypothermia, and cannibalism. The Hunger GamesLiam Hemsworth and Australian actress Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies) find themselves in a terrifying position when they accidentally film a murder in their new movie, Cut Bank.

In the film, Liam plays a small-town boy living in Cut Bank, Mont., the coldest place in America, but he dreams of escaping rural life. While filming his girlfriend Cassandra (Palmer) shooting an audition tape in an expansive field of wildflowers, he accidentally catches a murder on film in the background. He decides to try to turn a terrifying situation into a way out by leveraging his knowledge of the homicide, but things don’t go according to plan. John Malkovich plays the sheriff investigating the crime, while Billy Bob Thornton and Bruce Dern also co-star.

Frank Marshall Selected as the Ace Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year by American Cinema Editors

Prolific filmmaker Frank Marshall has been selected by the Board of Directors of the American Cinema Editors (Ace) to be honored with the organization’s prestigious Ace Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year Award.  The award will be presented at the 65thAnnual Ace Eddie Awards black-tie ceremony on Friday, January 30, 2015 in the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
