Darien Lambert, Captain of the Fugitive Retrieval Section in the 22nd century, time-travels to the 20th century to capture 22nd century criminals who have escaped by time-traveling. He is armed with a PPT, a 3-button weapon that can render a man unconscious or send a man to the 22nd century. He has a computer named Selma, disguised as a credit card. Selma helps him to capture the fugitives, for she has access to various databases, and can make logical conclusions. She has also many other functions. The main criminal is Mo Sahmbi, who invented the time machine (TRAX) and helped the criminals to get away. Lambert cannot go to the 22nd century until he has captured all the fugitives. Written by

The patch on the back of Lambert's A-2 jacket is the Flying Tigers blood chit. These patches were issued to US pilots flying in China during WWII so they could be returned safely by Chinese people (most of whom didn't speak English) to US air bases in China, thus saving many lives. The flag on the chit is the Nationalist Chinese flag (now Taiwan). The chit reads, "This man is an American fighting for China. Please save and protect him as a fellow soldier." The Flying Tigers were a group of maverick pilots flying for Chiang-Kai-Shek. In a period of seven months, they shot down over 1000 Japanese planes in the air and on the ground while suffering only a few casualties. The jacket is government issue and doesn't include side-entry pockets. See more »
I loved Time Trax and saw every episode when it originally aired. I disagree with a previous post I read about the show though. Granted everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I thought the show was great. Of course, I originally started watching because of that hot hot man Dale Midkiff. Today I saw him on the SciFi channel in a movie called Maximum Velocity. While the movie was good his acting was the bomb!(That means his acting is "really good" in case you were wondering.) I really like him and will get this series someday soon. Time Trax should be updated into a TV Movie. Of course, it would "have to" star Dale Midkiff or else it just wouldn't work. I highly recommend this series and suggest you check it out in reruns. Also, check out anything else starring Dale.
