Sex & Nudity

  • In the episode "Bye, Bye Birdie", Filburt's bird, Turdy, rips off Bev Bighead's bra, having Bev to reply, "Oh! You naughty bird!"
  • One episode title is called "Carnival Knowledge".
  • In one episode, Heffer throws a nudist party at Rocko's party (Rocko seems disapproved about it). In the same episode, when Ed Bighead happens to be spying on them, Bev happens to take a perverted interest into it, and, for some reason, throws one herself at the end of the episode.
  • In "Carnival Knowledge", the slug, who is running the carnival, is seen reading a "Playslug" magazine at one point.
  • In one episode (the banned one), if you look closely at the documentary that Rocko and Bev are watching, you can see a female frog with breasts and nipples in plain sight.
  • One recurring restaurant is named "Chokey Chicken" (the name was changed in season 4).
  • In "Schnit-Heads", there's a scene where Heffer has a hot dog in his pocket. Rocko notices, and asks him, "Do you have a sausage in your pocket?"
  • In "Who Gives a Buck?", when Rocko and Heffer were riding on a train through the store, the salesman tells them that they must sit "doggy style".
  • In "From Here to Maternity", one scene heavily implies that Heffer and Dr. Hutchison had an affair (Dr. Hutchison's third son looks like Heffer with Filburt's glasses).
  • Tons of sexual innuendo throughout the show, but never really explained clearly.
  • One character started working for a phone-sex company in a short sequence.
  • In one incident, Rocko picks something that resembles a berry on something that resembles a bush. The bush turns out to be a furry animal and the berries turns out to be his testicles, as seen when the animal stands up and grabs his crotch in pain.
  • One episode had a character trying to seduce another. Later, the girls husband returned home, only to see another male character in his underwear with money in his hands and believed she got payed for sex.

Violence & Gore

  • In the episode "Ed is Dead", there's a scene that strongly suggests Bev actually killed her husband, Ed Bighead.
  • In "Sucker for the Suck-O-Matic", there was a reference to an incident called the JFK Assassination in the scene where Heffer was watching TV.
  • Heffer is shown vomiting twice in "Hut Sut Raw".
  • For a show that's marketed to grade-schoolers, there's a surprising amount of blood in the show (take "No Pain, No Gain" for example).
  • The first episode had a scene where an animal broke off his arms while training. Both fell down to the ground and blood/meat were shown.
  • Heffer started to nosebleed a lot in car.
  • Brain is shown in several episodes.

Profanity

  • A character's name is "Crappie Jack".
  • In "Sucker for the Suck-O-Matic" and "Tickled Pinky", some characters can be heard saying "Oh my God", "My God" and "Dear Lord".
  • In "Who Gives a Buck", when Rocko and Heffer are the "All Scottish Show", the acronym it forms can clearly be seen.
  • It was implied that Rocko and Filburt were about to say the word "hell" in the episode "Kiss Me, I'm Foreign".
  • Sign written "Elevator to Hell" is shown. Heffer is sent to a mythical place called "Heck" after he has a death experince. He says, "isn't it suppossed to be_" then his mouth is covered by Peaches (a stand-in for Satan) who asks for censors. Nothing big...
  • A rhino's name is "Mr. Horny."
  • Some episode titles, like: Who Gives a Buck (Fuck), To Heck (Hell) and Back.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Rocko's boss, Mr. Smitty, is shown smoking a cigar in several episodes.
  • In "Flu-In-U-Enza", a bird is briefly seen smoking and is also shown coughing up his heart and dying.
  • Some scenes with smoking. Some scenes are in bar/tavern-style establishments.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The episodes "To Heck and Back", "Power Trip", "Sugar Frosted Frights", and "Ed is Dead: A Thriller!" can be a bit dark/frightening for the youngest viewers.
  • In the episode "Cabin Fever", there's a disturbing scene where Mr.Bighead is half waked, but then, everyone becomes demons, then Mr. Bighead turns into a flower, then screams that even his eyes pop out. This scene is so disturbing, some adults are even scared of it, me too.
  • Muitos episódios tem mortes, cenas perturbadoras e sangrentas que são violentas demais.
  • The cartoon violence can be pretty violent sometimes, even disturbing.
  • In the episode Power Trip, Rocko's eyes turn red after pressing a "Green Button" and starts screaming and yelling at Filburt for not selling Big Man comic books, and although it's later resolved, it may be too intense for some young viewers.
