X-Men: Apocalypse Needs to Be The End for Bryan Singer

9 May 2016 2:01 PM, PDT | FilmSchoolRejects.com | See recent FilmSchoolRejects news »

The director proves that he no longer has any interesting X-Men stories to tell.

53 years of X-Men comic stories and an almost unlimited budget, and this is the best they could come up with?

It’s a sentiment that X-Men fans have lived through in the past and one they are doomed to live through again when Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27. While an X-Men movie doesn’t need to take an irreverent stance or curse its way into our hearts, it would be nice to see it do something new.

That was the case with X-Men: First Class, the 2011 rebirth of an X-Men franchise that had been floundering for »

Is Rita Repulsa Actually the Green Ranger in Power Rangers?

5 May 2016 6:05 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Earlier today, fans got a look at the official costumes for Lionsgate's Power Rangers reboot, which is currently shooting in Vancouver. While this is our first time seeing the heroes' costumes, we have previously seen photos from the set featuring two different versions of Elizabeth Banks as the villainous Rita Repulsa. It didn't take some fans long to notice a few striking similarities between the Rangers' and Rita Repulsa's suits, which has lead to a new fan theory that Rita Repulsa is actually the Green Ranger.

A Reddit user posted a retouched photo that offers a side-by-side glimpse at one of the Elizabeth Banks set photos, compared with an altered version of Naomi Scott's Pink Ranger costume. As you can see in the image below, both are quite similar, although not quite identical. Yet it still may be a valid fan theory. Naturally, we don't expect to get any »

Toy Review Tuesday: Legacy Thunder Megazord from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

After several releases in the Power Rangers Legacy line it was clear that with the sucess of it they continue releasing high end collector items at premium prices. Which brings me to my review this week: the Legacy Thunder Megazord from season two of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

This "toy" is a high dollar item and the price can be a bit questionable. I say that because it doesn't knock it out of the park. It's good, but for the amount they wanted for this one at release it doesn't have the feel...see for yourself in the new episode below:

Granted I was more interested in the colour and dinosaur than I ever was In Billy the character. It was nice to never be challenged for the role though, as most kids wanted to be Tommy, Jason or Kimberly. I had all the toys, »
