Watch Conan O'Brien and Max Weinberg Reunite on 'Conan'

29 October 2014 8:56 AM, PDT | Rollingstone.com | See recent Rolling Stone news »

For almost 18 years, from the 1993 debut of Late Night With Conan O'Brien until the bitter end of O'Brien's The Tonight Show run in 2010, drummer Max Weinberg was a constant presence alongside the late night host – at least when Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band weren't on tour.

However, Weinberg chose not to join Conan as it jumped to TBS, and the Max Weinberg 7 became Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band. That is, until Tuesday night, as the late-night host and his former band leader reunited for »

What Does David Letterman's Retirement Mean for the Future of Late Night TV?

25 July 2014 6:00 AM, PDT | Moviefone | See recent Moviefone news »

As the Great Late-Night Realignment of 2014-15 continues, one thing is clear: The East Coast/West Coast beef lives on, if not in hip-hop, then on late-night television.

This week, CBS announced that, when Stephen Colbert takes over David Letterman's "Late Show" next year, he'll keep the show at Broadway's historic Ed Sullivan Theater. Actually, it wasn't just CBS who made the announcement; it was CBS, several New York state legislators, and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. That's how big a deal it is that Colbert is not moving the "Late Show" to Los Angeles.

Not that there was much chance the show would move, though Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti made a game try at persuading CBS to move the show to what he called "the entertainment capital of the world" in a letter he wrote to the network in April, shortly after CBS announced Letterman's retirement... and »

Joe Manganiello Schools Conan O'Brien in the Fine Art of Male Stripping

16 July 2014 11:35 AM, PDT | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

Joe Manganiello made an appearance on Late Night With Conan O'Brien on Tuesday, and when talk turned to Joe's role as Big Dick Richie in Magic Mike, the inevitable happened: Conan asked Joe to help him come up with his own stripper name before getting some much-needed pointers in the art of the body roll. Conan should probably keep his day job, but let's just say that Sofia Vergara sure is a lucky lady. Watch the video above to see Joe (and Conan!) in action. »

Hollywood Scandals: The Blusterous Comedy of Chris Farley

7 July 2014 7:57 AM, PDT | Reelzchannel.com | See recent ReelzChannel news »

"Well, la-di fricken-da."

All too often, the price of success in Hollywood proves too costly a burden to bear and we are left wondering what, if anything, could have been done to prevent the tragic loss of yet another young talent. The newest episode of our Reelz original series Hollywood Scandals explores the tragic life and death of just such a talent in Chris Farley, a Midwestern boy who dreamed of following in the footsteps of his favorite actor and comedian, the legendary party animal John Belushi.

Fortunately for us, Farley's dream came true and he gave us all the gift of laughter, following a wildly entertaining stint on the NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live with several hilarious movies. Unfortunately for Farley, he followed the life of his idol a bit too closely, dying, like Belushi, of a drug overdose at the age of 33. Though he's been gone for nearly 17 years now, »

Shailene Woodley's Wacky Guide to Life

7 June 2014 11:02 AM, PDT | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

Source: Getty / C Flanigan Shailene Woodley has really broken out in Divergent and The Fault in Our Stars this year, but she's been almost as quotable as Matthew McConaughey for a while now. The free-spirited 22-year-old actress is as hippie as they come - she doesn't own a cellphone, she grows her own food and drinks exclusively from local springs, and she only wears used clothes. We've rounded up some of her craziest advice, including sunbathing your vagina, eating clay, and taking home-grown herbs for more lucid dreaming. 1. Don't shop at stores - make, grow, or gather it yourself. "I think everything about my lifestyle is fairly alternative. I gather my own spring water from mountains every month. I go to a farm to get my food. I make everything from my own toothpaste to my own body lotions and face oils. I could go on for hours. I make »

Louis C.K.: How to win Emmys without really trying

5 May 2014 12:17 PM, PDT | Gold Derby | See recent Gold Derby news »

"I did not get into this shit to try to get Emmys," said Louis C.K. at the Television Academy screening and Q&A for the fourth season of  FX's "Louie." He may not have been aiming for awards, but he got them anyway. He has won four Emmys out of a staggering 25 nominations, 20 of which have come in the last three years alone for writing, directing, editing, producing, and starring in "Louie" and his various stand-up specials. -Break- Will Emmy fave 'Louie' make a big Emmy comeback? His success seems sudden, but it has been almost 30 years in the making. He got his start in stand-up in 1985, then got a job writing for "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" when stand-up comedy was in decline in the early 1990s. "I thought,' I'm a comedian who got a writing job,'" he says of his late night experience, which »

Alex Trebek is finally getting back at Conan O'Brien.  After being subjected to months of embarrassment thanks to a reoccurring bit on Late Night With Conan O'Brien in which the talk show host pieces together clips of the longtime Jeopardy! star to make him appear utterly insane, Trebek finally got the last laugh during CoCo's show on Monday night.  But first the 50-year-old funnyman played the hilarious mashup clip of Trebek, which featured a number of head-scratching zingers before the camera cut to the Late Night stage, where Trebek was seen joining Conan while shaking his finger with obvious distaste.  "Hello, Conan, you seem to be having »

18 February 2014 12:55 PM, PST | The Playlist | See recent The Playlist news »

Twenty years ago today, Generation X saw their lives put up on the big screen in Ben Stiller's "Reality Bites," and two decades later it's still kinda spot on. Yes, it's a pretty reductive and obvious distillation of a certain era, but for everyone who lived through those years, for better or worse, there was something identifiable in the too-cool-for-everyone Troy (Ethan Hawke), the struggling Lelaina (Winona Ryder), her best friend Vickie (Janeane Garofalo), the closeted Sammy (Steve Zahn) and the more successful version of all of them, Michael (Ben Stiller). So, how can you blow out the birthday candles on this one? Well, we've collected some material that'll definitely help you take a trip down memory lane: a vintage interview with Ben Stiller on "Late Night With Conan O'Brien," an MTV special about the movie with Winona Ryder, behind-the-scenes footage from the shoot, and ten clips from the flick. »
