(1994–1995)

Trivia

The show was so popular that it ran for 86 episodes (three seasons), one of the few exceptions to Disney's 65-episode limit.
Though the series follows The Return of Jafar (1994) chronologically, it actually premiered just before the movie. So certain elements (such as why Iago was a "good guy" and why the Genie was still with them) were unexplained. The opening credits originally included scenes from The Return of Jafar (1994). By the third season many of the clips were replaced by scenes from previous episodes.
Many episodes were based upon old stories.
