Own the rights?
Wayne was renacting an old tv commerical sketch that advertises "Grey Poupon" which always shows a rich man riding in a fancy car that's driven by a chauffer eating a meal with grey poupon. And the commerical always ends with another driver that drives by and askes the rich man through the door window, "Pardon, do you have Grey Poupon?". These commericals aired during the 1980s, and immidately cease to exsist sometime later on. Those who were born after the 80s would indeed not immediately understand the following joke presented in this movie.
