New 'X-Files' Teaser (Watch!)

We get more excited for the return of "The X-Files" with every teaser trailer Fox drops, and the latest footage is no exception.

On Monday night, a 45-second promo was released, featuring Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) back in action and on "dangerous ground."

"They police us, they spy on us, tell us that makes us safer. We've never been in more danger," Mulder says in the trailer. "This is my life. This is everything I believe in."

"This is my life. This is everything I believe in." Fox has released a new teaser trailer for The X-Files event series, giving fans an updated look at Mulder, Scully, Skinner, and more.

"David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprise their iconic roles as Agent Fox Mulder and Agent Dana Scully in the upcoming event series which will encompass a mixture of stand-alone investigative episodes and those that further the original show’s seminal mythology. In the opening episode, Mulder and Scully take on a case of a possible alien abductee. Hold on to your pool chairs: All three of Penelope Spheeris' entertaining, heartbreaking and iconic Decline of Western Civilization documentaries are officially coming to Blu-ray and DVD for the first time in a deluxe box set on June 30th. Shout! Factory will release the four-disc anthology chronicling L.A.'s hardcore punk, hair-metal and gutter-punk phenomena with a 40-page book, extended interviews and a new commentary track by Dave Grohl. Et's Kevin Frazier was still flying high hours after his selfie with Katy Perry at her Super Bowl press conference, but leave it to comedian Kevin Hart to bring him back down to Earth.
