That Night (1992)
Kathryn: Ugh, it's the loonhead from the strike and square.
Barbara: He's kinda cute... for a greaser.
Sheryl O'Connor: I knew it from the moment we met we'd be together forever.
Alice Bloom: Well... who told you?
Rick: I'm going to round up my buddies and we are going straight to Cheryl's house to get some answers!
[Ten-year-old girls rubbing on breast enlargement cream]
Alice Bloom: They won't get too big?
Kathryn: I wouldn't worry about it Alice.
Alice Bloom: I thought if either of my parents died, I'd die too, that if they stopped breathing they'd draw me back inside, like they once told me they kissed each other and breathed me into life.
Kathryn: Yeah, he's really a creep. Too bad he's such a great kisser...
Alice Bloom: He kissed you? When?
Kathryn: Last night during "Father Knows Best". And... Max kissed Barbara!
Alice Bloom: Well... did he lean waaaaayyyy back and did it sound like
[makes kissing noises]
Alice Bloom: Then it wasn't a love kiss... That's a *fact*, Kathryn.
Kathryn: Don't embarrass yourself, Alice. Besides... What would *you* know about L-O-V-E?
Larry Bloom: So, I explained to Alice that I had spoken to Sheryls mom because I knew her husband would have wanted to do the same thing. You know what she said to me? "What'd he do, write you a letter from Heaven?"
Rick: That's it? Where's the rest of the letter?
Alice Bloom: I ate it. I memorized it, and then I ate it.
Sheryl O'Connor: God, what's the matter?
Alice Bloom: I want to kill him.
Sheryl O'Connor: Oh, one of those.
Alice Bloom: No, stop it, I'm not...
[kicks Mickey in the privates]
Carol Bloom: What's going on?
Max Meyer: Alice castrated Mickey!
Alice Bloom: It would be just the three of us, like that night.
Sheryl O'Connor: Stop, stop it, Allie, you've got it all so twisted up! Ordering me around like I'm some goddamned princess! Wearing my perfume and listening to my records? I'm just this girl that lived across the street from you and I don't now!
Mickey Meyer: That's it! I'm never doing it, nobody's touching mine!
Barbara: Don't you want to have a baby?
Mickey Meyer: I'll buy one.
