quick synopsis: bad cops looking for conspiracy tape. stripper caught in the middle. hero cop tries to help her.
I didn't find this thrilling. Actually most of the file was quite subdued and moody. They touch on some serious child/parent issues and suggested former child abuse, but it never seemed to go anywhere. It seems to suggest she became a stripper because of a bad childhood (cliche, anyone). The strip scenes were not that great, except for the incredible body of Mz Sheridan.
The most interesting thing about this film was they brought up this big conspiracy, all the cops in on it, etc. Then they never resolve it! They don't even tell you what it was about! The police "hero" just turns in the secret tape, and everyone goes on with their life. I thought that was an interesting twist. It seemed like this movie was made in the 70s, with the police conspiracy, etc.
All in all, not one for the ages. But Mz Sheridan's bod almost makes up for any downside.
